After his lackluster fight against William Scull, Canelo Alvarez should be focused on Terence Crawford (41-0), whom he will face in September in Las Vegas.

And it was in the first face-to-face between the two where Saul Alvarez (63-2-2) spoke of his desire to fight in the United Kingdom, a country he visited a few months ago for an event of The Ring, which works very closely with Turki Alalshikh, who pays the Mexican this year and next.

Chris Eubank Jr. recalls his desire to face Canelo Alvarez

And from the United Kingdom, there is a fighter who has been rumored as a possible opponent for Alvarez and who is also in the portfolio of Arab Sheikh’s boxers.

Eubank Jr. spoke about his future plans on the Diary of a CEO podcast and included the Mexican in what would be his target for 2026.

“I feel like the demand for the fight with Conor Benn is at its peak now. I feel like it would be the next fight to do. Then you have Canelo, which is a fight I’ve wanted for years and I’d love to share the ring with him,” said the 35-3 fighter.

Chris Eubank is the International Boxing Organization middleweight world champion, four pounds below Canelo’s reign, and his last fight was a unanimous decision victory over Conor Benn (23-1), whom he hopes to face in his next bout.

In his ideal plan, after Benn he wants to fight Saul Alvarez and then Billy Joe Saunders (30-1), who took his unbeaten record in 2014 in a split decision and has not fought since 2021, when he lost his unbeaten record against Canelo.
