The Indiana Fever saw their season come to an end after a tough overtime loss to the Las Vegas Aces in Game 5 of the semifinals. Despite keeping the game close and pushing it into extra time, the Fever fell short 107-98.

The absence of Kelsey Mitchell due to injury and Aliyah Boston fouling out proved costly in overtime.

The Aces capitalized, led by dominant performances from A’ja Wilson and Jackie Young, who combined for 67 points.

With the WNBA season behind them, several Fever players are already lining up their next basketball opportunities. But Caitlin Clark, one of the team’s biggest stars, is keeping quiet about her plans.

Indiana players heading into off-season leagues

While Clark‘s next steps remain unknown, a number of her teammates will be active in other professional competitions over the winter.

Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell, and Lexie Hull are set to join the new Unrivaled 3-on-3 league, aimed at giving players competitive opportunities during the WNBA off-season.

Meanwhile, veteran guard Odyssey Sims will once again suit up for Athletes Unlimited, a fast-paced, four-week basketball league where players are redrafted each week and scored individually.

According to the league, Sims “has been a cornerstone of AU since its launch.”

Sims holds the all-time records in multiple categories, including leaderboard points (24,067), win points (10,320), stat points (12,127), and MVP points (1,620).

Joining her in Athletes Unlimited will be Brianna Turner, Sydney Colson, and Bree Hall, making the Fever one of the most represented teams in the competition.

As her teammates prepare for a busy off-season, all eyes remain on Caitlin Clark, who has yet to confirm whether she’ll play in any off-season league or take time to rest and train. For now, her next move is a mystery.
