Just months after all the controversy surrounding The Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, we already have what could be next future drama. After a year that saw Bad Bunny bring reggaeton to the forefront of the American landscape, the baton may be passing to the East this time, but not to the East many are thinking about.

BTS, the South Korean phenomenon that has redefined the “boyband” label over the last decade, is now openly eyeing the most coveted 15 minutes in music. If interested in this move, the NFL will definitely be investing in international sound rather than national.

J-Hope dreams big: “Super Bowl… wow”

The spark for this latest wave of speculation came directly from J-Hope. The 32-year-old rapper and dancer recently sat down with Kany Diabaté to discuss his career aspirations and the future of the group. When asked to describe his dream stage, Hope did not hesitate and admitted his love to main event in a big stage, as he did in London’s Wembley Stadium.

“Performing at meaningful, iconic venues is honestly the most fun part. Now, the parts I used to enjoy will be even more fun because we’re together

Then, he said the words that set the “ARMY” ablaze:

“Super Bowl. Wow, that sounds so fun. Wow, if we perform at the Super Bowl, I wonder what it would feel like

For BTS and their fans worldwide, the 2027 Super Bowl at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles would be a homecoming of sorts. The city has long been a stronghold for the group, hosting several of their most successful U.S. residencies.

As J-Hope put it: “It’s good to dream big anyway.” If those dreams manifest and become real next year, the 2027 Super Bowl will not just be a football game, it will be a global purple revolution.
