After suffering a devastating knockout in San Bernardino, California, she had to be placed in an induced coma to prevent further complications, according to the company that produced the event.
The woman’s name is Isis Sio, originally from North Dakota, and her body endured a brutal blow that has left her in a critical health condition.

During the fight, it was already becoming evident that it would turn into a brutal contest. With 1:18 remaining on the clock in the first round, a powerful punch from her opponent knocked her out cold.
She began to convulse, which forced officials to remove her from the ring on a stretcher, according to information shared by ESPN Booking Scene.

The event took place at the Orange Show Events Center and featured a scheduled card of seven fights for Saturday, March 21.
In footage of Sio’s fight, she can be seen absorbing two precise body shots before receiving a combination of five direct punches to the head, before collapsing in the ring.
The 19-year-old appeared completely defenseless as she absorbed the blows to the head. It raises the question of why the referee did not intervene to stop the fight.
Her opponent was 21-year-old Jocelyn Camarillo from Indio, California, who fights under Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions. She was also devastated by the news and shared a message on her Instagram account.
