The Philadelphia Eagles‘ Super Bowl victory parade took an unexpected turn when general manager Howie Roseman and rookie cornerback Cooper DeJean sustained injuries due to fan-thrown beer cans. While the celebration was filled with joy and energy, these incidents cast a shadow over the day’s events.

As Roseman made his way through the parade route, a beer can tossed by an overenthusiastic fan struck him in the forehead, leaving a visible gash. Despite the injury, Roseman remained in high spirits, smiling and continuing to celebrate with fans.

He was even seen holding a cigar while addressing the crowd, emphasizing his dedication by exclaiming, “I bleed for this city!” The incident, while alarming, did not seem to dampen his enthusiasm or the team’s celebration.

Cooper DeJean also struck during festivities

Rookie standout Cooper DeJean was another casualty of the chaotic celebration. The highly anticipated defensive back, who is expected to be a key player for the Eagles, was also hit by a beer can amid the festivities. Fortunately, neither injury was serious, and both men managed to continue participating in the parade.

Beer-soaked celebrations get wild

The Eagles‘ parade was marked by intense fan energy, with players and team officials reveling in the moment. Many, including Saquon Barkley, were seen downing beers alongside fans, creating a rowdy yet memorable atmosphere. The team’s celebrations included speeches, championship chants, and passionate interactions with their dedicated supporters.

While the incidents with Roseman and DeJean serve as reminders of how unpredictable large-scale celebrations can be, they also highlight the deep connection between the Eagles and their fan base. Despite the minor injuries, the team and its supporters remain united in their championship glory.

The Eagles’ Super Bowl win has cemented their legacy once again, and even with a few bruises along the way, the team is already looking forward to defending their title next season.
