Barcelona vs PSG: What time is the 2025-26 Champions League match and where to watch it in the United States?

Barcelona and PSG will face each other in the Champions League in a match with a final flavor, although with a lack of important players on both sides

This match was the ideal scenario for Ousmane Dembele, winner of the 2025 Ballon d’Or, and Lamine Yamal, who finished second, to face each other. However, due to a rehabilitation process, the Frenchman will not be able to see minutes, while the Barcelona jewel may not be a starter as he is coming out of an injury.

However, Barcelona seems to be in excellent form, after beating Real Sociedad and taking the LaLiga lead from Real Madrid. On the other hand, PSG is also the leader of Ligue 1, obtaining 15 of 18 possible points, so this looks to be an evenly matched duel that could be defined by some genius from the two best players in the world.

When and where to watch Barcelona vs PSG?

On October 1, Hansi Flick‘s side will host Luis Enrique and his team for the second round of the Champions League.

  • Date: October 1
  • Time: 3:00 pm ET
  • Stadium: Estadi Olimpic Luis Companys
  • Broadcast: Paramount+, DAZN, ViX.

Barcelona vs PSG possible lineups

  • Barcelona: Szczesny; Kounde, Araujo, Cubarsi, Balde; de Jong, Pedri; Lamine Yamal, Olmo, Rashford, Lewandowski.
  • PSG: Chevalier; Nuno Mendes, Pacho, Marquinhos, Hakimi; Fabian Ruiz, Vitinha, Joao Neves; Barcola, Mayulu, Doue

Barcelona vs PSG: A match overshadowed by injuries

It is worth mentioning that Barcelona will have to face this match with important absentees, as players such as Joan Garcia, Fermin Lopez, Raphinha and Gavi are ruled out through injury, while Lamine Yamal and Balde will be eligible but having just come out of injury they may not be starters

While Ousmane Dembele will not see minutes for PSG, and probably also Marquinhos and Warren Zaire-Emery are in doubt, as well as their starting midfielders Fabian Ruiz, Joao Neves and Vitinha all coming back from their respective injuries.

Barcelona vs PSG prediction

Even with the full squads, it would be difficult to point to a favorite, but with so many absentees, the exercise becomes even more complicated. On the one hand, Barcelona has shown a great volume of play although it has left serious doubts in defense. PSG, for its part, has casualties in very specific positions, and this added to the fact that they are the visiting team, could end up giving the label of favorite to Barcelona. Although with Luis Enrique you never know. What seems to be guaranteed is that we will have an end-to-end match with many chances at both ends.
