And it is not easy to wipe away six years and a championship he helped secure in 2020 alongside LeBron James and company. His impressive performances left a profound mark that the fans wanted to celebrate now that he was back.

In his return to the court after the injury that sidelined him for a considerable stretch of games, Davis was limited in his playing time; however, he showed the determination to prove that his talent remains intact.
Anthony finished the night with 12 points, five rebounds, and five assists while shooting 6-of-10 from the field.
After the game, his former teammate and friend, Austin Reaves, approached Davis for a jersey exchange.
I mean, he’s one of the best players to ever touch a basketball. So, I don’t know why he wanted my jersey. But for me to get his, is pretty fun.

With the victory earned this past Friday, November 28, the Lakers closed the group stage of the NBA Cup undefeated, guaranteeing home court for the quarterfinals, which will be played on December 10 against the San Antonio Spurs.
