Last August, Alvaro Morata, a player for the Spanish national soccer team, had to announce, together with his wife, Alice Campello, one of the toughest decisions of his life.
Finally, after leaving several clues on social media, the influencer and the footballer confirmed their reunion, which was a great joy for all their followers. After several months of silence, the Italian has decided to provide details on how she experienced this whole process on an Italian television programme, ‘Verissimo’.
“It was the biggest mistake we ever made in our lives. Every day we repeat it. I don’t know how we could make that decision. This experience has taught us both a lot because we understood what it is to be without each other,” the influencer began.
In addition, Alice Campello also pointed out one of the most difficult moments she suffered, when after a complicated delivery she almost lost her life: “It’s easy to get depressed or have moments of fragility. It’s something that changed me, I had not been well for a long time and maybe I didn’t even realize it.”
Alice Campello on her family’s role: “My father was very angry”
Alice also highlighted on the Italian television program the role her family played in the difficult decision to break up with her partner and their subsequent reunion: “I’m very close to my father and he was very angry because he couldn’t explain how two people who love each other so much were able to destroy something so beautiful”.
Lastly, she ended by thanking the role her family played throughout the process: “I’m very grateful to my family for the values they instilled in me and for always telling me the truth.”
It is worth noting that Campello acknowledged in the magazine ¡Hola! that they sought professional help: “Therapy is necessary to know that what is happening to you can happen to anyone.”
