Reagan Bregman, the wife of Alex Bregman, was key in the signing of the player for three years and $120 million with the Boston Red Sox, a deal that was struck a few days ago.

During an appearance on the “Section 10” podcast, Bregman explained the report that his wife helped put together a 16-page document of questions for the organization amid their negotiations, The Post reported

“I think Reagan’s questions were about family life,” Bregman said, who would not confirm or deny the size of the document. “In fact, she’s in Boston right now. She called me and said, ‘It’s 10 degrees right now, but I love it.’

“She is excited. She is studying at Harvard. She asked a lot of questions about housing,” said the player, who has been married to Reagan for four years, according to The Houston Chronicle.

The businesswoman is the co-founder of Wild Sol, a tequila-infused salsa, and an investor in Reffer, a life management app founded by NFL wives and players.

“And I asked them a lot of questions about what they think about winning,” Bregman said of the questions he asked the Red Sox, and evidently, both parties agreed.

“It was a resounding ‘of course we do,'” Bregman said. “‘We’re tired of not making the playoffs, we want to make the playoffs.’ And I said, ‘Sign me up’.”

For now, it is unknown what position Bregman will play on defense, while Rafael Devers has been firm in his stance that he will not give up third base

Bregman also received offers from the Detroit Tigers for six years and $171.5 million with a buyout option after 2026, and from the Chicago Cubs for four years and $120 million with buyout options after 2026 and 2027, according to MLB.com.
