Aaron Judge explains how he ignores the boos he receives and has a clear goal with the Yankees

Aaron Judge can be considered a unique player, the best hitter in MLB, and one with an elite offensive profile that the New York Yankees haven’t seen in a very long time. Even with the presence of Shohei Ohtani, it is the Bronx Bombers‘ star who is directly challenging the Japanese superstar.

Boos for Aaron Judge

The spotlight is naturally on the Yankees captain, and questions about the World Baseball Classic final loss quickly surfaced, despite the fact that it was his own performance that helped carry the team that far.

Recently, he also received fan boos, likely from Baltimore Orioles fans, at the team’s Spring Training complex in Tampa.

For Judge, this is not a concern. He remains focused on his team goals and leadership role inside the clubhouse.

“I see the bigger picture. I’ve got a job to do,” he told theNew York Post. “I’ve got things to do, so I’m not going to be bothered by criticism. If I was, I’d never accomplish what I want.”

“There are so many things I’ve got to do,” Judge added. “I’ve got to lead this team. I’ve got to win the division. I’ve got to win a championship here.”

Many believe that Judge’s elite talent is being wasted because he has yet to win a World Series with the Yankees. There may be some truth to that, although if he stays healthy, he could secure his fourth AL MVP.

While an MVP award does not replace the value of a championship, a fully healthy Judge could be the key to helping the Yankees return to the top and win their first World Series title since 2009.
