50 Cent defends Floyd Mayweather from bankruptcy gossip despite their well-known differences

Rapper 50 Cent has bragged about his friendship with former boxer and now businessman Floyd Mayweather, and as is also normal in human relationships, he has also had his disagreements with the champion who retired undefeated in 2017. However, there have been more good moments or moments of solidarity in which he has accompanied him, such as his entry into prison in 2012 for domestic violence, but today a situation in which money is involved keeps them separated.

However, the fact that they are at odds is not enough for Cent to let the aggressions and falsehoods pass, which today seek to unbalance ‘Money’, of whom many claim is bankrupt after some bad business in the real estate field.

The reason for the disagreements

While it is true that the rumors are unfounded and the state of his finances is unclear, it is also true that 50 Cent has not forgiven a large debt to ‘Money’, which is rumored to be the main cause of their current enmity and amounts to $2 million.

And yet, he recently came out to defend him from the attacks, lies and speculations in a video discussing Mayweather’s alleged financial instability: “Damn, they’re talking bad about Champ, even though we’re arguing, he’s still my brother,” 50 Cent said.

In addition, the rapper, who flaunted his friendship with Money, stressed that unlike others in the boxer’s circle, he has never depended on his money, so he feels he has a moral authority that others lack: “We’re drifting apart because I don’t need him. He used to put up with people’s codependency.”

Cent mocks Mayweather and claims he is a liar

Mayweather’s alleged real estate portfolio was revealed by Money himself in an interview with Jimmy Fallon: “I don’t know the exact figure. Currently, I have over 100 buildings or more; I think 99% of my buildings are in New York City,” something 50 Cent mocked, claiming not without irony that this was a lie.

In any case, if the rumors are true, what ‘Money’ has to do is to fill his coffers again, with some exhibition fight or something related to the world of boxing, and it would also serve to pay his debt and heal the wounds of a friendship that not even money has been able to break definitively.
