Despite Zion averaging a respectable 22.8 points in the 12 games since returning from his most recent injury, the constant noise surrounding his personal life suggests his career is trending toward “bust” territory due to a lack of focus. When healthy and dialed in, he remains a physical marvel in the paint, but those moments are becoming increasingly rare.

The firm sued him for $100 million after he broke their marketing agreement to sign with CAA. The case turned ugly when Ford’s legal team attempted to force Zion to admit he had received illegal benefits while at Duke, a move that could have jeopardized his collegiate records.
Fitness and Commitment Criticisms: NBA legends like Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal have repeatedly and publicly called out Zion for his physique.
