The great offensive support was a relief for starter Yoshinobu Yamamoto. He went through the White Sox lineup with precision. It was in the bottom of the fourth inning when Ohtani’s hit came, a shot that consolidated his place as the ‘National League home run king’; he became the fastest player in Dodgers history to reach the 30-home run mark.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s message to Shohei Ohtani:

Beyond the triumph, the celebration extended to social networks. Yamamoto immediately uploaded the post from the MLB official about Ohtani’s milestone to his Instagram story. He added a simple but forceful Japanese message: “30 greats, yes”. A gesture of respect between friends

Ohtani returned the favor with a classic and clever Instagram story. He shared an old funny photo of Yamamoto modeling, simply saying “So cool!” This unusual public exchange offered fans a real glimpse of their strong bond.
