The situation of the umpire in the game between the New York Yankees and the Houston Astros worsens as a writer calls for a thorough investigation.

This comes after the controversial decisions made by the head umpire during the game between the Bronx Bombers and the Astros.

What happened to the umpire in the Yankees-Astros game?

Home plate umpire Brian Walsh ejected Aaron Boone, manager of the New York Yankees, and Devin Williams, relief pitcher during the eighth inning of the game on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. He also called a balk with the bases loaded in what appeared to be a PitchCom problem for Dominican relief pitcher Camilo Doval. And then he ended the game in the ninth inning by calling a strike on a full count that was out of the zone.

A writer criticized the referee and calls for a thorough investigation

A writer has criticised the umpire and is taking the matter further, calling for Major League Baseball to investigate the umpire’s decisions during the game between the New York Yankees and the Houston Astros.
