Since Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took control of the club in 2020, Wrexham has experienced meteoric growth both on and off the field. After several decades trapped in non-professional football, the team was promoted to League Two in 2023, League One in 2024 and now finally reaches the Championship, a category it has not played in since 1982.
