It’s time for elimination basketball as the WNBA Playoffs get underway with Las Vegas Aces looking to defend their crown from the likes of the Minnesota Lynx and New York Liberty. So what are all the key match-ups on route to the WNBA Finals?

With the stage set for a thrilling conclusion to the season, what are all the details you need to know and what is the route to the WNBA finals?
The WNBA First Round: September 22-27
The first round of the WNBA Playoffs tipped off on Sunday, September 22 and run until Wednesday, September 25, wuithout any extra games needed.
All games will be broadcast by ESPN or ABC on an alternating basis, whilst the WNBA offers a streaming option. Venues are also on an alternating basis.
- Atlanta Dream vs. New York Liberty (0-2, September 22 and 24).
- Indiana Fever vs. Connecticut Sun (0-2, September 22 and 25).
- Phoenix Mercury vs. Minnesota Lynx (0-2, September 22 and 25).
- Seattle Storm vs. Las Vegas Aces. (0-2, September 22 and 24).
The WNBA Semi-Finals: September 29-October 8
The winners from each side of the bracket will now clash in the Semi-Finals. This matches will be a five-game series. First to three goes through.
All games will be broadcast by ESPN or ABC on an alternating basis, whilst the WNBA offers a streaming option. Venues are also on an alternating basis.
- New York Liberty vs Las Vegas Aces (1-0, Next Games: October 1, 4, 6 and 8).
- Minnesota Lynx – Connecticut Sun (0-1, Next games: October 1, 4, 6 and 8)
The WNBA Finals: October 10-October 20.
Then it’s onto the big one as the winner of Semi-Final A takes on the winner of Semi-Final B for a shot at becoming the 2024 WNBA champions and to get their hands on an illustrious ring and all of the prestige and prize money along with it.
The games will be played on October 10, 13, 16, 18 and 20 with precise timings yet to be confirmed.
