Willian Pacho’s reaction when asked about a possible move to Real Madrid

Willian Pacho’s name continues to gain weight in the elite of European soccer. After establishing himself as one of PSG’s defensive pillars, the Ecuadorian center-back has again been linked with Real Madrid, a club that is going through a crisis in its defense due to the constant injuries of players such as Eder Militao and David Alaba.

While Pacho is preparing for the FIFA date with Ecuador, a journalist approached him to ask about Real Madrid and the player’s gesture went viral on social media.

William Pacho’s reaction when asked about a possible move to Real Madrid

Pacho was entering Ecuador’s hotel in Europe and was specifically asked by El Chiringuito about whether he would like to wear the white shirt and/or play in LaLiga.

Pacho opted for prudence, responding only with gestures and smiles that quickly went viral on social media, as he neither denied nor confirmed anything, but his face said it all.

Despite the constant rumors linking him with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, interest that had already been strongly expressed during the 2025 Club World Cup, his departure from France seems an almost impossible mission in the short term, as he is under contract until 2029, so a large amount of money would have to be paid.

Pacho is going for his first World Cup

While the offices in Paris and Madrid are generating headlines, Willian Pacho remains focused on his international commitments.

The center-back will lead the Ecuadorian defense in the demanding preparation matches against Morocco and the Netherlands, litmus tests to measure his level against world-class strikers before resuming activity with his club and which will also be key to arriving in good shape for what will be his first World Cup.
