After Beyonce performed at the Christmas show for the Baltimore Ravens vs Houston Texans game, expectations are high for what Kendrick Lamar will present at the Super Bowl, as the star chosen for next year at the Superdome in New Orleans. The Texas singer headlined the celebration in 2013 and 2016 and her Christmas appearance could well earn her a return appearance in the future
However, the rapper, also known as K-Dot, has a great opportunity to take his career to a global showcase, so a great show is expected, as it did at Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles, as one of Snoop Dogg’s guests, where he showed part of his spectacular show.
Lamar is expected to perform some of the songs from his new album, GNX, which includes some sporting references.

How long is the Super Bowl halftime show?
Normally, halftime of an NFL game lasts between 12 and 15 minutes. However, the halftime period in the Super Bowl is much longer, to allow for a show (in this case a mini concert), which takes 20 to 30 minutes
Although the shows do not last more than 15 minutes, the rest of the time is spent setting up and taking down the stages. Justin Timberlake took almost 14 minutes in 2018, performing snippets of 11 songs at the Vikings stadium
Lady Gaga took 13 and a half minutes in 2017, while Coldplay, Beyonce and Bruno Mars finished in just over 13 minutes
The show cannot take longer, as the players begin to cool down their bodies and, in addition to losing their rhythm of play, they would increase the propensity to suffer an injury in the most important match of the season
Some teams even choose to start warming up before the show is over, as the Patriots did in 2012. Or they even practice taking such a long break, to maintain concentration. To do this, the team’s coach, Bill Belichick, stopped practice and sent his players back to the locker room for 30 minutes, adding a motivational talk to complete the training.
