We are two weeks away from the fight between Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Terence Crawford, which has generated great expectations in Mexico and the rest of the world.

It will be on Saturday, September 13, 2025, when Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford meet at the iconic Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In this fight, the Mexican boxer will defend his four world crowns in the super middleweight category (168 pounds): WBC, WBA, WBO and IBF titles. However, another question that has arisen is, where can you watch the ‘Canelo’ Alvarez fight? Here at MARCA we tell you the details.

Where can I watch the ‘Canelo’ Alvarez fight?

The magnitude of this fight has been increased by the way both fighters arrive, which makes Alvarez vs Crawford an exceptional fight, and could represent a before and after in their careers.

Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez arrives with a record of 63 wins, two losses and two draws (63-2-2). Of those victories, 39 were by KO and he comes into the fight after defeating William Scull last May.

On the other hand, Terence Crawford is undefeated with a record of 41 wins (31 KOs) and is considered one of the best pound-for-pound fighters of the moment.

The fight between Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Terence Crawford will be broadcast exclusively on Netflix. This is a novel and more accessible system compared to traditional pay-per-view.

In addition to the main event between Alvarez vs Crawford, Netflix will also offer the rest of the undercard, which is as follows:

  • Callum Walsh vs. Fernando Vargas Jr.
  • Christian Mbilli vs. Lester Martinez
  • Mohammed Alakel vs. John Ornelas
  • Serhii Bohachuk vs. Brandon Adams
  • Ivan Dychko vs. Jermaine Franklin Jr.
  • Steven Nelson vs. Raiko Santana
  • Reito Tsutsumi vs. Javier Martinez
  • Sultan Almohamed vs. Martin Caraballo

Why won’t Canelo Alvarez’s fight be on free-to-air TV?

‘Canelo’ Alvarez’s fights have become a classic for Mexicans in September, to watch his fight and also to celebrate Mexico’s national holidays.

However, this year will be the exception, as the fight between Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Terence Crawford will not be available on free-to-air television and will be exclusive to the streaming platform.

Despite having a contract with TV Azteca to broadcast all his fights, Canelo Alvarez also has an agreement with Turki Alalshikh where pay-per-view is prioritized, therefore, it will only go to Netflix.
