Why Jason Kelce’s TikTok is the funniest thing you’ll see today

Jason Kelce has built a reputation as one of the most authentic personalities in football, both during his legendary career with the Philadelphia Eagles and in retirement.

Now, the former All-Pro center is bringing that same unfiltered charm to social media, and the results are unintentionally hilarious.

The 38-year-old recently decided to jump into the world of TikTok, a move that surprised many fans who associate him more with old-school football grit than viral dance trends.

But instead of trying to act like a social media expert, Kelce has fully embraced the chaos of not knowing what he’s doing.

The outcome? A TikTok presence that’s quickly becoming must-watch entertainment.

The topic even came up on the hit podcast “New Heights,” which Kelce hosts with his brother, Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs.

During the episode, the brothers reacted to a fan review describing Jason Kelce’s videos as something that looks like it was filmed either by a toddler or a grandparent. Surprisingly, the comment was meant as a compliment.

Instead of taking offense, Kelce leaned into the joke.

“I mean, I feel like a grandpa using TikTok,” he admitted on the show. “I really do not get it one bit.”

That brutally honest confession only made fans appreciate him more.

The accidental comedy of Jason Kelce’s TikTok era

What makes Kelce’s TikTok account so entertaining isn’t flashy editing or perfectly curated content.

Instead, his videos feel spontaneous, awkward, and sometimes downright confusing. Ironically, that makes them far more relatable than the polished content typical of influencers.

Even Travis Kelce believes that authenticity is exactly why his brother’s videos resonate.

During the podcast discussion, the Chiefs star praised Jason for being “special” and “authentic,” saying that fans love seeing his real personality come through in everything he posts.

Interestingly, not everyone in his household is thrilled with the new social media experiment. Kylie Kelce, his wife, reportedly told him to tone down the TikTok antics after seeing how much time he was putting into filming some of the clips.

That admission made things even funnier. According to Kelce, one of his “dumb” videos actually took far more effort than he expected, highlighting just how foreign the platform still feels to him.

At the time of the podcast discussion, Kelce’s TikTok account had already surpassed more than 570,000 followers and accumulated over 1.4 million likes, all while his profile jokingly admits that he has “no clue” what he’s doing.

In an era where social media is often filled with perfectly curated highlights, Jason Kelce offers something refreshingly different: a retired NFL legend navigating TikTok like everyone else’s confused uncle.
