Even in youth league matches, facing your classic rival is experienced with total intensity. Cristiano Ronaldo’s eldest son drew attention in the U-15 match between Al Nassr and Al Hilal, though not for an extraordinary play or a surprising goal.

Cristiano Jr. received a yellow card after reacting angrily to a decision by his team’s coaching staff and one by the referee.

CR7’s Son’s Viral Outburst

The altercation began when Ronaldo Jr. fell after being shoved by one of his opponents while they were battling for possession of the ball. The young player’s teammates quickly protested for a foul, but the referee decided to let the game continue without issuing any cautions.

This reaction sparked CR7 Jr.’s anger, and he made his displeasure known. However, the match continued, and just as things seemed to be calming down, the tension reached a boiling point.

In the final minutes of the match, Ronaldo’s son was substituted by the Al-Nassr coaching staff. Frustrated by the earlier incident, the young player did not hide his anger and, as he made his way to the sideline to leave the field, he made angry gestures and protested to the referee, according to GOAL.

This behavior drew an immediate response from the referee, who decided to show him a yellow card. This heated moment was shared on social media, where users expressed a variety of opinions.

Some believed this reaction was disproportionate and that he should have remained calm, as such outbursts could harm him, while others considered it an understandable reaction given the competitiveness he has demonstrated, much like his father.

Meanwhile, CR7 is in Spain, having traveled to Madrid to treat his hamstring injury following Al Nassr’s last match against AlFayha (3-1), where he had to be substituted. He is expected to return to the field around April 3, so his participation in Portugal’s final two World Cup warm-up matches against Mexico and the USMNT on March 28 and 31, respectively, is in doubt.
