The Super Bowl LX, one of the most important sporting and cultural events of the year, is already beginning to generate excitement not only for the game, but also for the musical entertainment that will accompany the day. The NFL has officially confirmed the list of artists who will be part of the ceremony on Sunday, February 8, 2026, with a combination of established figures and emerging talent.

Among the most notable announcements is Brandi Carlile, who will perform “America the Beautiful,” one of the traditional pre-kickoff pieces of the Super Bowl. The American singer will be accompanied by deaf artist Julian Ortiz, who will perform in sign language, reinforcing the inclusive approach of the event.

Bad Bunny will headline the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show

The main protagonist of the show will be Bad Bunny, who will lead the Super Bowl halftime show for the first time. The Puerto Rican artist, a multiple Grammy Award winner, will perform on February 8 in a performance that promises to be a historic milestone.

This will be the first time that a Latino and Spanish-speaking artist will headline the Super Bowl halftime show solo. Bad Bunny already has experience on this stage, having participated as a special guest with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira in the 2020 edition.

The artist himself said that his performance will be a tribute to his culture and those who paved the way before him in the music industry and sport.

Green Day to open the pre-game ceremony

Before the start of the game, the opening ceremony will feature a performance by Green Day, one of the most influential pop-punk bands. The NFL detailed that their performance will serve as a tribute to the 60-year history of the Super Bowl, paving the way for legendary championship figures to take to the field.

The band led by Billie Joe Armstrong will perform some of their greatest hits in a segment full of nostalgia and celebration.

Charlie Puth to sing US national anthem

The singer and producer will be accompanied by Fred Beam, who will perform the American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” keeping in line with the accessibility that will characterize the event

Puth takes over from Jon Batiste, who performed the anthem at the 2025 Super Bowl.

Coco Jones will complete the pre-game musical segment

Singer and actress Coco Jones will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing”, known as the “Black National Anthem”. Jones, a Grammy winner and one of R&B’s emerging figures, will also be accompanied in sign language.

When and where to watch Super Bowl LX
