Tyson Fury’s return already has a date and venue. The former world heavyweight champion returns to the ring this Saturday, April 11, to face Russian-Canadian Arslanbek Makhmudov at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in a fight that could redefine the immediate course of his career.

After more than a year out of the ring and following his announced retirement, Fury is looking to prove that he still has what it takes to fight for a world title again. But first he will have to overcome an awkward, powerful opponent with a high knockout percentage.

What time is Tyson Fury vs Arslanbek Makhmudov in the United States?

The show will start early this Saturday:

  • Prelims: 11:00 a.m. EST
  • Main card: 2:00 p.m. ET
  • Main event (approx.): 6:00-7:00 p.m. EST

The timing of the main fight may vary depending on the length of the previous fights.

Where to watch Fury vs Makhmudov live?

The event will be broadcast exclusively via streaming on Netflix.

In addition, the preliminary fights can be followed through Tudum and Ring Magazine’s social networks.

Fury returns after defeat to Usyk

The last time Fury stepped into the ring was in December 2024, when he fell for the second consecutive time to Oleksandr Usyk in his attempt to become undisputed champion.

Before that, the Briton had defeated Francis Ngannou in 2023, in a fight that raised doubts about his level.

Now, with a record of 34-2-1, Fury returns without belts, but with his sights set on one last chance in the heavyweight elite.

Arslanbek Makhmudov is a Russian professional boxer who has held the WBC-NABF heavyweight title since 2019. As of December 2022, he is ranked as the world’s ninth-best active heavyweight by The Ring

Makhmudov arrives as a dangerous opponent. With a record of 21 wins (19 by knockout) and only two defeats, the 36-year-old fighter stands out for his power and imposing physique.

Standing at nearly 1.96 meters tall and weighing in at over 115 kg, he poses a real threat to Fury, especially considering the Briton’s recent inactivity.
