Where to watch Dodgers vs Red Sox? TV Channel, Tickets and starting time for today’s MLB game

Two of Major League Baseball’s most recognizable franchises meet Friday night with considerably more at stake than the names on their uniforms.

The Los Angeles Dodgers begin a three-game home series against the Boston Red Sox at 7:10 p.m. PT, which is 10:10 p.m. ET.

Los Angeles enters the opener at 69-40, while Boston arrives at 57-51 and looking to strengthen its position in a crowded American League playoff race. Friday’s game will be televised locally on SportsNet LA in the Dodgers’ market and NESN for Red Sox viewers.

Fans outside those areas can watch through MLB.TV, subject to the league’s local blackout restrictions. Streaming services carrying the relevant regional networks may also provide access depending on location and subscription.

The confirmed pitching matchup features Boston left-hander Ranger Suarez against Dodgers right-hander Edgardo Henriquez.

Earlier schedules listed Yoshinobu Yamamoto as Los Angeles’ likely starter, but the Dodgers have moved him to Saturday. Henriquez enters Friday at 4-1 with a 2.79 ERA and 42 strikeouts, while Suarez is 4-3 with a 3.02 ERA and 103 strikeouts.

How to buy Dodgers vs. Red Sox tickets

Tickets remained available through the Dodgers’ official sales platform and the club’s official resale marketplace on Friday.

Prices can change quickly based on demand, seating location and additional fees, so buyers should compare the final checkout cost before completing a purchase.

The game will be played at UNIQLO Field at Dodger Stadium. Fans traveling to the ballpark should account for Los Angeles traffic and the time required for parking and stadium entry.

General parking costs $40 when purchased in advance and $45 at the gate. Preferred spaces are also available in advance at a higher price.

Friday is also Kyle Tucker Bobblehead Night, with the giveaway scheduled for the first 40,000 ticketed fans entering the stadium. That promotion may increase demand and create longer lines before first pitch.

The weekend series continues Saturday at 6:10 p.m. PT and concludes Sunday at 4:20 p.m. PT.

What to watch in the series opener

Henriquez’s late move into the Friday assignment creates the biggest tactical question for Los Angeles.

The right-hander has produced strong numbers, but the Dodgers may still need several relievers to complete the game depending on how deeply he works.

Boston will counter with Suarez, who gives the Red Sox a proven left-handed option against a powerful Dodgers lineup. His ability to limit traffic on the bases will be tested by a Los Angeles offense capable of changing a game with one swing.

Yamamoto is now scheduled to face Payton Tolle in Saturday’s second game. Sunday’s projected matchup has Jake Bennett starting for Boston against Emmet Sheehan, with that finale airing nationally on NBC and Peacock.

Friday’s opener therefore provides the regional television audience with the beginning of a high-profile weekend and a revised pitching matchup that could shape how the Dodgers manage their bullpen.

The essential details are straightforward as first pitch is at 10:10 p.m. ET, SportsNet LA and NESN have the local broadcasts, and tickets are still available for fans heading to Dodger Stadium.
