Where to watch Bills vs Browns: TV channel, live stream for Week 16 game

The Browns have nothing to lose and a lot to gain. Already eliminated and with no playoff aspirations, Cleveland wants to take advantage of the end of the season to establish and consolidate Shedeur Sanders as quarterback. The Bills are an ideal opponent to work on his temperament, character and pressure.

They host a Bills team motivated by the win over New England and with Josh Allen looking to get into the best possible postseason rhythm and fulfill the dream of being in a Super Bowl now that the Chiefs are no longer in the way.

Buffalo wants the lead in the AFC East and Cleveland wants to avoid last place in the AFC North, so they are fighting with the Bengals for that decorous finish to the season.

Recent history: slight advantage to Cleveland

The Browns hold the all-time regular season record against the Bills with 12 wins and 10 losses. Playing at home, Cleveland has a 7-4 record against Buffalo.

The last time they met was in 2022; the victory went to the Bills by 31-23.

The good news for the Browns: Myles Garrett

The defensive end is one sack away from tying the NFL’s single-season sack record of 22.5, and 1.5 away from breaking it. He leads the league with 21.5 sacks.Allen has recorded at least one sack in 12 of 14 games this season, while Garrett has registered at least half a sack in 11 of 14 games. It looks like there will be a new mark to boast about in Cleveland.

The key to the game: stop Josh Allen

The Buffalo quarterback has one of the best arms in the NFL and has the added bonus of being able to escape pressure using his legs to extend plays. He throws to all areas of the field, as well as passes outside the scheme.

This season he has completed 284 of 406 pass attempts for 3,276 passing yards and 25 touchdowns. He has thrown a total of 10 interceptions and has been sacked 33 times. The Browns’ pass defense is the best in the league, allowing the fewest passing yards per game, with an average of 169.1 yards. This could play in Cleveland’s favor if they can figure out and stop Allen on the Bills’ early drives.

What should Cleveland look for? The ground attack

The Browns can take advantage of the ground game to create opportunities in the air attack against the Bills, as Buffalo allows an average of 143.1 rushing yards per game, which ranks them 30th in the league.

Cleveland averages 92.4 rushing yards per game, ranking 29th in the league, but if they can balance the ground game and the passing game, quarterback Shedeur Sanders will be able to reap the rewards.
