Where can Aaron Rodgers play in 2025? Here are some solid possibilities

The New York Jets have officially decided to part ways with four-time NFL MVP and future Hall-of-Famer Aaron Rodgers, as confirmed by the organization on Thursday morning. The 41-year-old quarterback now faces a pivotal decision: whether to continue his career and, if so, which team will be his next destination.

Rodgers’ tenure with the Jets saw him throw for 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions last season. However, despite his individual stats, the team managed to win only five games with him as their full-time starter.

Given those results, it’s not entirely surprising that the Jets are moving on from the aging star. Still, Rodgers remains a player of immense talent and experience, and several teams are expected to express interest in his services.

Where will he continue playing in 2025?

One potential landing spot is the Tennessee Titans. With one of the league’s best secondaries and an underrated defense overall, the Titans could become serious contenders in the AFC South if they address their offensive struggles. Rodgers, even at this stage of his career, would likely be a significant upgrade over rookie Will Levis. The Titans have a history of pursuing marquee quarterbacks-back in 2012, they were finalists for Peyton Manning before he ultimately signed with the Denver Broncos. This might be their chance to correct course and bring in another legendary signal-caller.

Another intriguing option for Rodgers is the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers have been searching for a quarterback who can help them return to playoff success after failing to win a postseason game since 2016. With strong rosters in recent years but no quarterback to capitalize on their talent, Rodgers could be an ideal fit. The respect between Rodgers and Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is well-documented, and joining a storied franchise like Pittsburgh might appeal to him.

Lastly, the Las Vegas Raiders might be an enticing destination for Rodgers. The allure of playing under new team owner Tom Brady could be irresistible. Brady has already brought in veteran head coach Pete Carroll to lead the team, and Rodgers might find the idea of working with both Brady and Carroll compelling.
