Indian Wells, the first Masters 1000 of the season, will start on Wednesday, March 5 and the final will be played on Sunday, March 16. Carlos Alcaraz will be looking for his third consecutive title. This has not happened since Djokovic achieved it between 2014 and 2016. In the two finals won by the Spaniard, Medvedev was on the other side of the net. In 2022 he was stopped in the semifinals where he lost to Rafa Nadal.

After falling in the quarter-finals in Doha to Czech Jiri Lehecka, the Spaniard arrives at what is considered the fifth major with a title already won in 2025: Rotterdam, his first tournament won indoors. The tournament will feature Zverev (No. 1 seed), Alcaraz (2), Taylor Fritz (3), Casper Ruud (4), Daniil Medvedev (5), Djokovic (6), Andrey Rublev (7), Stefanos Tsitsipas (8), Alex de Minaur (9), among others. The women’s draw will include Aryna Sabalenka (1), Iga Swiatek (2), Coco Gauff (3), Jessica Pegula (4), Madison Keys (5), Jasmine Paolini (6), Elena Rybakina (7), Emma Navarro (8), Qinwen Zheng (9) and Paula Badosa (10)
