The Oklahoma City Thunder have a chance to clinch their first NBA title since relocating to Oklahoma City in 2008 – or the Indiana Pacers could force a decisive Game 7. Back at Gainbridge Fieldhouse tonight, the Thunder lead the series 3-2 after a dominant 120-109 Game 5 win, powered by a stunning 40-point outing from Jalen Williams and 31 points from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Game Details

  • Date: Thursday, June 19, 2025
  • Time: 8:30 PM ET
  • 7:30 PM CT
  • 6:30 PM MT
  • 5:30 PM PT
  • Venue: Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, IN

How to Watch

  • TV Channel: ABC, ESPN3
  • Streaming: Available via ABC.com, Watch ESPN, Sling TV, fuboTV, Hulu + Live TV, DirecTV, YouTube TV

What to Expect

The Oklahoma City Thunder enter Game 6 riding a wave of momentum after a commanding 120-109 victory in Game 5. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams have formed one of the most explosive duos in recent Finals memory, combining for over 130 points in the last two games. With their offense firing on all cylinders and Chet Holmgren anchoring the defense, the Thunder are looking like a complete unit-just one win away from the franchise’s first NBA championship.

The Indiana Pacers, however, aren’t ready to fold. Backed by a raucous home crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indiana will need everything from their supporting cast-especially if star guard Tyrese Haliburton, who remains doubtful with a calf strain, can’t suit up. That puts the spotlight on veterans like Pascal Siakam and role players like Bennedict Mathurin and T.J. McConnell to carry the load. Indiana has shown grit throughout the playoffs, and they’ll need every ounce of it to force a Game 7.

With the Thunder favored by 6.5 points and the Pacers’ postseason future hanging in the balance, expect a fiercely contested, high-stakes battle on both ends of the floor.

NBA Finals Series Schedule

  • Game 1: Pacers 111-110 Thunder
  • Game 2: Thunder 123-107 Pacers
  • Game 3: Pacers 116-107 Thunder
  • Game 4: Thunder 111-104 Pacers
  • Game 5: Thunder 120-109 Pacers
  • Game 6: Tonight – Thunder @ Pacers – 8:30 PM ET (ABC)
  • Game 7: Sunday, June 22 – Pacers @ Thunder – 8:00 PM ET (ABC)

*if necessary

As the 2025 NBA Finals continue to deliver heart-pounding drama, Game 6 offers the Thunder a chance to raise the trophy and the Pacers one final shot to extend their Cinderella run. Whether it’s a coronation or a comeback story, one thing is certain-tonight’s game will be remembered.
