There are people who seek glory and do not achieve it, but there are others whom work and effort lead directly to it. This Saturday, August 2, in Canton, Ohio, we will meet four of those chosen by the NFLThe Pro Football Hall of Fame 2025 already has a date, time, venue and protagonists. Four legends will be forever enshrined in gold in the most eagerly awaited induction ceremony in American football. Four names, four unforgettable stories: Antonio Gates, Jared Allen, Eric Allen and Sterling Sharpe will be inducted into the temple where only the greatest have the key. And you can watch it live on NFL Network or NFL+ from 12 p.m. ET. and the ceremony starts at 1 p.m.

When and where to watch the 2025 Hall of Fame?

The Olympus of American football has a name: Canton, Ohio. And that is something to be celebrated. These four men will be immortalized and forever remembered for their legacy, their dedication, their passion and their numbers.

This ceremony is the culmination of Enshrinement Week, which begins on July 31 with the Hall of Fame Game between the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

Event schedule:

  • The grand event, the induction of players into the NFL Hall of Fame 2025, will be on Saturday, August 2 at the legendary Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
  • Kick-off: 12 noon, with the sun blazing
  • The ceremony will be streamed live on NFL Network and NFL+.
  • On August 1, the Gold Jacket Dinner will take place, where the inductees receive the gold jacket, one of the most symbolic and emotional moments in the sport.
  • And on Sunday, August 3, the party continues with the Concert for Legends, headlined by Nickelback and Mitchell Tenpenny.
  • Tickets and VIP hospitality packages are now available at profootballhof.com and onlocationexp.com.

The new immortals of American football:

  1. Antonio Gates: 116 touchdowns, 955 receptions and the tight end with the most touchdowns in NFL history. An icon for the Chargers for 16 seasons.
  2. Jared Allen: Dominant defensive end with 136 quarterback sacks, five Pro Bowl selections and four All-Pro nods. He played for the Chiefs, Vikings, Bears and Panthers.
  3. Eric Allen: One of the best cornerbacks of his generation. He had 54 interceptions in 14 seasons, with eight defensive touchdowns.
  4. Sterling Sharpe: A Packers idol, he led the NFL in receptions three times. His career was short, but his impact was eternal. He will be the first receiver enshrined alongside his brother Shannon Sharpe, making history as the first pair of brothers in the Hall.

With these additions, the total number of Pro Football Hall of Fame members now stands at 382.

The ceremony is not just a tribute. It is a liturgy. The speeches, the tears, the golden jacket, the ovation of the stadium: everything builds a ritual where the past and the legacy shake hands.
