American tennis star Jessica Pegula, ranked No. 3 in the world, is set to face fellow American Ann Li in the second round of the 2025 French Open. The match is scheduled for Thursday, May 29, 2025, with an estimated start time of 5:00 AM ET / 2:00 AM PT. The match will take place on Court Suzanne-Lenglen at Roland Garros in Paris.

How to Watch Jessica Pegula vs. Ann Li

In the United States, the match will be broadcast live on TNT Sports and truTV, both part of the Warner Bros. Discovery Sports package, which holds U.S. broadcast rights to the French Open in 2025. For streaming, the match will be available on Max with the B/R Sports Add-On, as well as via truTV’s website and supported streaming platforms.

Pegula’s Form and Li’s Challenge

Jessica Pegula enters the second round after a straight-sets victory over Romania’s Anca Todoni in the opening round. Pegula is aiming to build on her improved Grand Slam form over the last 12 months, despite not having the best clay court season leading up to Roland Garros

Ann Li, ranked No. 55, advanced to the second round by defeating Maria Lourdes Carle. Li and Pegula have faced each other once before, with Li leading their head-to-head 1-0, dating back to 2018.

As Pegula continues her quest for a maiden Grand Slam title, this all-American clash against Ann Li offers an opportunity to assess her form and resilience on the clay courts of Paris. For fans and analysts alike, it’s a chance to witness the continued evolution of one of tennis’s top contenders.
