American Gervonta Davis will defend his WBA lightweight title on Saturday when he takes on Lamont Roach Jr. at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The event, which will take place on Saturday, March 1, will begin at 18:00 local time, while the main fight of the night is expected to begin around 23:00 Eastern Time.

Davis comes into this fight with an undefeated record of 30 fights and 30 wins, with a very high percentage of 28 knockouts, and is a native of Baltimore, Maryland.

In the other corner, Roach Jr. has a record of 25 wins, one loss and one draw, with 10 victories by knockout, and will face who is said to be one of the best fighters today pound for pound, and who has also given hints of a possible premature retirement from the ring.

The event will be full of adrenaline, as there will be another fight for a world title, the WBC super lightweight title between Dominican champion Alberto Puello against Spaniard Sandor Martin.
