This will be McCarthy’s first NFL regular-season start after he suffered a season-ending knee injury during Minnesota’s first preseason game last season that sidelined him all of 2024.
Monday’s game will also feature two top 10 picks in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Bears selected Williams with the first overall pick out of USC, while the Vikings took former Michigan star McCarthy with the 10th overall pick.
