The highly anticipated Unrivaled 1-on-1 basketball tournament is set to make history, offering one of the most unique formats and lucrative prize pools in women’s basketball. Created by former WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, Unrivaled aims to provide elite players with a high-stakes, fast-paced competition unlike anything seen before.

The first edition of this groundbreaking event will bring together 30 top-tier athletes to showcase their skills in intense head-to-head matchups, pushing the limits of individual talent and competitiveness.

Beyond the excitement of a one-on-one format, what makes this tournament particularly special is the substantial prize money up for grabs. With a total prize pool of $350,000, Unrivaled is offering financial incentives that rival some of the biggest events in women’s basketball.

The competition not only provides a platform for elite athletes to shine but also ensures that their talent is properly rewarded, further elevating the visibility and value of the women’s game.

Prize money breakdown

  • Champion: $200,000
  • Runner-up: $50,000
  • Semi-finalists: $25,000 each
  • Clubmates of the Champion: $10,000 each

The tournament kicks off on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 7:00 PM ET, featuring first-round matchups such as Napheesa Collier vs. Katie Lou Samuelson and Breanna Stewart vs. Aaliyah Edwards. The competition will culminate on Friday, February 14, 2025, with the final rounds determining the champion.

Fans can engage further by participating in Unrivaled’s Bracket Challenge, filling out their predictions before the tournament starts. This initiative allows supporters to connect more deeply with the event and compete for bragging rights among peers.

The Unrivaled 1-on-1 tournament promises to showcase top-tier basketball talent, with significant financial incentives adding to the stakes. As the competition unfolds, players will not only vie for the substantial monetary rewards but also for the prestige of being crowned the inaugural Unrivaled champion.
