In an extraordinary display of dedication to his craft, heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury has revealed that he hasn’t spoken to his wife, Paris Fury, for three months in preparation for his highly anticipated rematch against Oleksandr Usyk.
This drastic measure is part of Fury’s intense training regimen as he aims to reclaim the WBC, WBA, and WBO heavyweight titles after a tough loss to Usyk earlier this year. Fury, known for his unwavering commitment and intense focus, explained that isolating himself from his family, including his wife and their seven children, was necessary to achieve the mental and physical sharpness required for the fight.
He believes that this sacrifice, though challenging, will ultimately contribute to his success in the ring. Paris Fury, who has been a steadfast supporter of her husband’s boxing career, addressed the situation on social media.
This is not the only thing he had to say
Despite the current commitment that Tyson Fury has towards his upcoming boxing fight, Paris confirmed that there has been contact between them but she has been understanding of the situation just like when before they got married as they did not have sex until after that.
For Fury it was apparently different. “I’m a liar, a cheater, a proud, vain person. Everything that’s bad I do or have done. We all make mistakes, don’t we?,” he told Boxing News online in 2015.
“The only thing I ever regret in life is having sex before marriage. If I could erase that then my life would be practically perfect. I regret all the filth that you do with people. I must have had sex with over 500 women, more, I don’t know, I’ve lost count. But it’s pure filth and horribleness,” he added. He hopes he stays focused before the fight so he can go back to his wife and his marriage life.
