Trump’s granddaughter to make LPGA Tour debut… thanks to a sponsor

is the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr., is a senior at The Benjamin School (in Palm Beach County) and has played in national amateur tournaments. But now Kai Trump, granddaughter of former US President Donald Trump, will make her LPGA Tour debut in November thanks to a sponsor’s invitation.

Thus, the young player received an exemption to play in ‘The Annika’ at the Pelican Golf Club from November 13-16, the penultimate tournament on the LPGA calendar, which usually has one of the best fields, beyond the majors.

Ranked 461st in the AJGA girls’ rankings, Kai Trump said, “My dream has been to compete with the best in the world on the LPGA Tour. This event will be an incredible experience. I look forward to meeting and competing against so many of my heroes and mentors in golf in my debut on this tour.”

Kai Trump has more than six million followers on her various social networks and recently launched a clothing and lifestyle brand aimed at empowering young women in sport.

“Sponsor invitations are an important way to highlight emerging talent and bring new attention to our tournaments and the LPGA,” said Ricki Lasky, the LPGA’s director of business and operations
