The Jacksonville Jaguars clinched the AFC South title and secured their place in the playoffs after defeating the Tennessee Titans 41-7 on Sunday, January 4, in Week 18, the final week of the NFL regular season.
Trevor Lawrence shone and led the team with 255 yards and three touchdown passes, but he attracted attention even before the game due to his special outfit.
Lawrence pays tribute to his daughter before the game
This new victory capped off a very special day for the Jaguars quarterback, as it was not only the team’s eighth consecutive win (13-4), but it also came on the first birthday of his daughter Shae Lynn, whom he shares with his wife Marissa
Before the Jaguars vs. Titans game, Lawrence, arrived at EverBank Stadium wearing a special personalized T-shirt in tribute to his little girl, with several photos of her and her name on the top.
This outfit did not go unnoticed, and the NFL’s official X account shared a video of the quarterback arriving at the stadium. There, fans were quick to express their birthday wishes for little Shae and highlight Trevor’s tribute:
“Dad vibes only. That’s the move,” commented one of them.
“That shirt is definitely next level cute. Dad goals right there,” said another.
“Totally adorable Trevor dad vibes, let’s go Jags,” wrote a third.
“Walking into work like a proud dad first, quarterback second,” said another follower.
In 2016, Trevor met Marissa, who would become his future wife and mother of his daughter, while they were still in high school. Four years later, in 2020, they got engaged at Clemson University Stadium, where Trevor had numerous victories with his college team.
The couple finally got married in April 2021 (just a few weeks before the NFL Draft), and on January 4, 2025, their first daughter, Shae, came into their lives to expand their family.
Lawrence’s wife made the announcement on her official Instagram account, where she has proven to be active and fervently supportive of her husband. On this occasion, she shared eight photos with the little girl in her hospital bed with Trevor sitting next to her.
Without a doubt, January 4 was and is a great day for Trevor.
