The moment came as the tight end and his brother, Jason, created a stir on social media this week while promoting their “New Heights” podcast, after landing the four-time NBA champion, Shaquille O’Neal.
The announcement of the Los Angeles Lakers’ legend was made through a teaser clip posted on the podcast’s official X.com (formerly Twitter) account, which featured Shaq playing Taylor Swift‘s 2012 hit I Knew You Were Trouble, a track he declared was his “favorite song in the world.”
However, what truly significant attention from fans was Kelce‘s enthusiastic reaction as the three-time Super Bowl champion sang along but also recognized the original version of the song, distinguishing it from Swift’s re-recorded Taylor’s Version”.
His spirited participation and clear familiarity with the track triggered an outpouring of support from Swift‘s fanbase. Many fans praised his open admiration for his Grammy-winning girlfriend as they headed online to react.
