Taylor Swift made a notable return to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, October 19, to support her fiancé, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, as the team defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 31-0. The pop star was seen watching the game from a private suite alongside her father, Scott Swift.
The appearance marked Swift‘s second time attending a Chiefs game this season. Her first outing took place on October 12, when the team triumphed over the Detroit Lions.
For Sunday’s matchup, the 35-year-old artist wore a black “Kansas City Chiefs” jersey accented in red and white, paired with gold jewelry and her trademark red lipstick. Her hair was styled in a simple ponytail, and she kept her look understated yet polished.
During the game, Swift was joined in the suite by Kelce‘s parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, as well as WNBA player and longtime Chiefs supporter Caitlin Clark.
The event followed a busy few weeks for the singer, who recently released her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, on October 3 and has been promoting it through various media appearances.
A shared focus on passion and support
In a recent interview on BBC Radio 2’s Scott Mills Breakfast Show, Swift spoke candidly about her relationship with Kelce, highlighting the mutual respect they share for each other’s careers.
“I love the person I’m with because he loves what I do and supports how much fulfillment I get from making art and music,” she added.
“He’s so passionate about his own work, and that connects us.”
Kelce also addressed Swift‘s latest album on the October 8 episode of his New Heights podcast, co-hosted with his brother, Jason Kelce.
When Jason joked that Travis was the “main creative muse” behind the project, Kelce dismissed the idea, responding, “I’m just lucky to be her support system while she releases one of the best albums I’ve ever heard.”
He described Swift as “happy and proud” of her work, adding that he was equally proud of her accomplishments.
Although Swift did not attend the Chiefs‘ October 6 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Kelce‘s mother, Donna, showed visible support by wearing a baseball cap decorated with Swift-themed designs along with her red “87” jersey.
Donna had previously worn the same cap during a family gathering for Kelce‘s 36th birthday, which followed her attendance at a screening event celebrating Swift‘s new album.
With The Life of a Showgirl now released, sources close to Swift suggest that she is beginning to turn her attention toward planning her upcoming wedding.
One insider noted that after a demanding work schedule, the singer is “ready for a break” and “excited to focus on the wedding.”
Another source added that the couple are still adjusting to their engagement and that referring to each other as “fiancé” remains a new and joyful experience.
