But veteran tight end Travis Kelce is determined that the team won’t go down without a fight.
On the latest edition of his New Heights podcast with brother Jason, Kelce expressed his frustration with how “little things” have cost the Chiefs in recent weeks.
He admitted he hasn’t been able to find the solutions he relied on in past seasons.

“You put in all this work and hope that it pays off. And right now, it’s just for whatever reason, man, it’s little things,” Kelce said.
“I feel like I’ve always had the answers in years past. And this year, I just can’t find them.”
Despite the challenges, Kelce made it clear that his effort will not waver. He emphasized that, regardless of playoff prospects, he will continue to give everything for his team.
“If there’s a game to be played, I’m going to make it the most important game in the world,” he said.
“We got four games left. I’ll put my heart on the line for these guys ’cause they deserve that, Chiefs Kingdom, you guys deserve that, and we’re going to keep this thing rolling.”
The veteran’s comments also hinted at his awareness of his career’s twilight years. While the possibility of resting to preserve himself for the future exists, Kelce seems focused on leaving everything on the field this season, no matter the outcome.
