Travis Kelce is keeping his travel plans-and his personal life-under wraps, even when the questions are coming from his mother.
In the latest episode of the “New Heights” podcast, co-hosted with his brother Jason Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end offered few clues about where he has been recently, despite some persistent probing by Donna Kelce.
“You look a little dark, Trav. You have a tan?” Donna asked during the episode, hinting at her son’s potential time spent in the sun.
Kelce, 35, deflected, joking that he’d been confined to his “cubicle,” while Jason chimed in with a sarcastic reference to Haiti-where Donna’s own cruise was recently diverted due to unrest.
Kelce‘s only real response was a cryptic, “I’m everywhere. I’m everywhere, mommy.” Donna followed up with a light remark: “Got it. Looks like you guys were having fun.” But the Super Bowl champion quickly steered the conversation elsewhere.
Travis hints at future travel
While Kelce didn’t reveal specifics about his travels, he did hint at potential upcoming plans-perhaps with family.
When Donna mentioned her own future trips to Mexico and other destinations, Travis offered a playful but vague reply: “Let me know. I might just magically appear.”
He added, “I don’t like to tell everybody where I’m going, but I do like to just pop up on people. Keep me in the loop.”
The podcast aired shortly after TMZ reported that both Kelce and Taylor Swift, 34, opted out of attending the Met Gala, despite being invited.
Swift is no stranger to the high-profile fashion event, having appeared six times previously, but her absence this year was reportedly due to scheduling conflicts.
Similarly, Kelce has kept a low profile since the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVIII loss in February and the conclusion of Swift’s Eras Tour.
Though the couple has avoided public appearances in recent months, they were briefly spotted leaving a restaurant in Park City, Utah in March. They had also reportedly taken a private international vacation in February, though no images from that trip surfaced.
On last week’s podcast episode, Kelce enthusiastically discussed a recent Las Vegas getaway with friends-one that did not include Swift. Despite the growing attention surrounding his relationship, Kelce appears determined to shield parts of his personal life from the public eye.
Donna Kelce also reflected on her son’s dating history, noting during the episode, “I met one or two [of your exes]. I knew nothing of anybody you … were dating in college. You told me zero.”
Whether Donna’s on-air nudging will eventually lead to more revelations remains to be seen. For now, Travis Kelce continues to play defense-not on the field, but when it comes to questions about his time with one of the world’s most famous women.
