The Super Bowl is fast approaching which means that every player on the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles is being watched closer than ever before.
Therefore, Travis Kelce being spotted out on a date with Taylor Swift in New Orleans less than 48 hours before the Super Bowl has really raised eyebrows.
Generally, players stay in their hotel this close to the biggest game of the season and do not risk any incidents or distractions with the outside world.
Instead, Kelce and Swift were seen having a date together in a French restaurant on Friday night.
They were holding hands at a French restaurant called Lilette on Magazine Street, and there was plenty of fans waiting at the steps to film them leaving, meaning the footage was soon everywhere.
Has Kelce broken the rules?
There is no suggestion that Kelce has broken any team rules by heading out with Swift so close to the showdown at the Caesars Superdome, but the most hardcore of fans could point to an incident like this if Kelce fails to perform and the Chiefs miss out on a historic three-peat on Sunday.

The Chiefs are staying a 20-minute drive away from the restaurant in question, with the Marriott hosting the favorites.
Last year ahead of the Super Bowl in Las Vegas, Kelce talked about how important it was for him to stay focused and lay low in his hotel in the days leading up to the big game.
“We’ve got one week, we do what we need to do then we can party in Vegas for the rest of our lives,” Kelce said.
If the Chiefs win on Sunday then all will be forgotten, but fans have been given ammunition against Kelce and Swift if things go wrong.
