Travis Kelce sends stern message to Travis Hunter over CB role struggles

The former Colorado standout, Travis Hunter, is set to make his NFL debut this season, generating significant anticipation around his potential impact with the Jacksonville Jaguars. His talent has already captured the attention of fans and analysts alike, sparking speculation about when his first breakout performance might arrive.

The No. 2 overall pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars signed a four-year contract, setting the stage for Travis Hunter to showcase his skills at the professional level. The Palm Beach, Florida, native brings elite versatility and playmaking ability, providing the Jaguars with a dynamic weapon capable of making an impact on both sides of the ball.

However, the rookie will face players with a big experience in the league, like the superstar of the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce, who has sent a stern warning to Hunter in his debut season. Those comments have arisen after there have been comments regarding the position that Hunter will display in the league.

The Bold Message from Travis Kelce to Hunter.

Experiences in the NFL are what Travis Kelce has, not in vain; he has harvested 3 Super Bowl championships with the Kansas Chiefs. With that said, Kelce issued a warning to the young rookie, advising him to be prepared for the challenges of his first NFL season, particularly when the two face off on the field.

The 3 time former Super Bowl winner saying that if Hunter plans to play as wide receiver, he will be a threat on the offense and by this will be a target to the defensive line. “they’re going to try and make his day miserable,” said Kelce on his participation in ‘Bussin with the Boys’ podcast.

“If he plays corner, they’re going to run deep balls at him all day. They’re going to run the wide receivers, just take off on him all day, to try and get him tired. I’m like, why wouldn’t you just attack him?” Travis Kelce complemented his opinion of Travis Hunter.

Teammates believe in the talent of Travis Hunter.

It’s undeniable that when you’re part of a team, your teammates and coaches will back you in times of need. In this case, the coach of Travis Hunter and Josh Hines believes that the Heisman winner has the ability to succeed as a two-way player.

Hines shared his thoughts on The Rich Eisen Show, expressing that Hunter is ready for the challenge and can manage the pressure and stay healthy throughout the season. “I think if he can allow himself to stay healthy, yes, and take care of that, get in a hyperbaric machine, I think, he has a great career ahead of him, both sides of the ball.” Hines expresses.

He also added that, “he a great playmaker on both sides of the ball? Yes, he is. And at the end of the day, you know, when you’re a team like us right now, who’s in that stage of we have to get it right nbow” showing that he trust Travis Hunter for the next challenge.
