The Kansas City Chiefs, and all other NFL teams, are officially back in action. OTAs got started this week, with veterans reporting to join the rookies, who had their own camp shortly after the 2025 NFL Draft. With the start of a new season comes high hopes once again, and the Chiefs are no exception.
With team captain and legend Travis Kelce coming back for at least one more season, the Chiefs feel rejuvenated. It certainly helps that the front office did a great job during the offseason to fortify the roster, giving Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid and co. more than enough to make another Super Bowl run. Given that this could be Kelce’s last year, the Chiefs want to win it all again for him, and Taylor Swift is expected to be along for the ride every step of the way.

Swift has become a football diehard during her relationship with Kelce, while the tight end has adopted plenty of things from Swift, including her fashion sense. Kelce was his cordial self as he entered the team’s facilities. He dapped up a Chiefs employee and asked him how he was doing. That type of personality from a team’s star is what has made the Chiefs’ culture something so many other franchise aspire to.
With the Chiefs having their players back in the fold, it’s time for Reid to get to work once again. He has several new players he must ingrain into the team’s culture, but the roster appears more talented than the one from 2024. That should make his job a little bit easier. It always helps to have Kelce by your side.
