Travis Kelce may propose to Taylor Swift to overcome Eagles loss and forget Super Bowl LIX

After one of the most devastating losses in Kansas City Chiefs history, some die-hard fans are finding a silver lining-by calling for Travis Kelce to propose to Taylor Swift as “payback” for the Eagles‘ victory. The Chiefs‘ 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX shattered their hopes of becoming the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls.

But instead of dwelling on the defeat, some fans are now plotting a different kind of victory-one that has nothing to do with football.

In the wake of the Chiefs‘ loss, social media was buzzing with speculation and humor, with fans jokingly demanding that Kelce propose to Swift-right then and there-to steal the spotlight from the Eagles.

“I hope Travis proposes to Taylor just to piss every single Eagles fan off,” a fan wrote.

Another added: “If I were Travis, I would propose and make the Super Bowl about me.”

“Please, the way everyone would not give a f**k about Eagles winning,” a third noted.

Kelce devastated after loss

While Chiefs fans were busy making light of the situation, Travis Kelce himself was struggling with one of the toughest moments of his career.

The tight end was visibly emotional after the game, fighting back tears as he returned to the Chiefs locker room.

“Hats off to the Eagles, man. We couldn’t get it going offensively. We just couldn’t find that spark, couldn’t find that momentum.” Kelce admitted.

Kelce, ever the competitor, also refused to believe the game was out of reach at halftime.

“100 percent believed. Never lose doubt. I think there was a lot of things going wrong. Everything was not really going our way today. You don’t lose like that without everything going bad,” he noted.
