Without a doubt, Taylor Swift’s appearance on the podcast “New Heights,” hosted by her fiancé Travis Kelce and his brother Jason, has made millions of fans tune in to this new episode, bringing together the worlds of the NFL and music.
“Taylor Swift on Reclaiming Her Masters, Wrapping The Eras Tour, and The Life of a Showgirl” not only broke a Guinness World Record for the most simultaneous views for a podcast on YouTube (1.3 million), but also earned another distinction, and the Chiefs tight end couldn’t stop praising his future wife.
Travis describes Taylor as “magical”
In the chat, TayTay spoke for two hours with the Kelce brothers about her relationship with Travis, her learning about the NFL, the balance between The Eras Tour and how she worked on her albums, and the announcement of her new album “Life of a Showgirl” and cover art, which stole the show.
All of this led to this episode, released on August 13, being officially ranked as one of the top three podcast episodes of 2025 by Apple.
The episode featuring the Kelce brothers and the 14-time Grammy winner ranked behind Crime Junkie: “MURDERED: The Feeney Family” and The Telepathy Tapes: “Unveiling the Hidden World of Telepathic Communication in a Silenced Community” at the top of the chart.
Upon receiving the news, Travis did not hesitate to credit his fiancée for being so “magical,” a comment that reveals the deep love and admiration he feels for his future wife.
This episode is also special for the couple, as Taylor herself confessed on The Jimmy Fallon Show that Travis proposed to her at the end of the recording. “I think for Travis, the podcast was just sort of like a distraction sort of ruse to keep me from looking out the windows of the house,” she said, as the backyard of their home was transformed into a beautiful garden where the youngest Kelce and she got engaged.
Before Taylor’s appearance, Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, boasted the most-watched episode after her appearance in September 2023. However, she addressed this situation herself on her podcast “Not Gonna Lie” and said she was happy about it: “I love that we know that a day before it releases my interview on the other podcast is going to lose its long tenured reign as most-watched episode, and I welcome that wholeheartedly,” she said.
Ky, with her own podcast, ranks second in “Top New Shows” and fifth in Apple’s most-followed shows.
