As Gosling promoted his upcoming sci-fi epic Project Hail Mary, the conversation shifted from fictional galaxies to the real-world possibility of leaving the planet.
While Gosling admitted he had “no interest” in venturing beyond the atmosphere, Kelce didn’t hesitate to express his desire for a lunar mission, describing the Moon as his primary destination of choice.
“I do. I want to go,” Kelce said instantly, when asked if he would ever consider leaving Earth. Unlike the deep-space voyages portrayed in Gosling‘s film, Kelce‘s plan is focused on a manageable commute rather than long-term colonization.
When his brother Jason pressed him on the logistics of the trip, Travis revealed a surprisingly straightforward philosophy regarding the 238,000-mile journey.
“The moon, I guess, just the closest thing,” he explained. “Just there and back. Just a quick shuttle, right?”
This lighthearted declaration has immediately fueled fan theories about whether his fiancee, Taylor Swift, would be willing to secure a seat on that “quick shuttle.”
