Travis Hunter NFL Draft odds: Giants become favorite to land Heisman winner

The two-way star that finished first in Heisman voting is favored to go third in the 2025 NFL Draft — but there is plenty of time for things to change.

Travis Hunter was recognized as the best player in college football last season, dominating on both sides of the ball for Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes.

Now, he is expected to go within the first five picks come April’s draft.

Let’s check out the odds for where Hunter will land at DraftKings Sportsbook as of March 26.

Which team will Travis Hunter be drafted by?

Giants: -150 (bet $10 to win $16.67 total)
Browns: +195 (bet $10 to win $29.50 total)
Patriots: +370 (bet $10 to win $47 total)
Jaguars: +1200 (bet $10 to win $130 total)

At some point during the pre-draft process, Hunter has been favored to go to the Browns, he was favored to go to the Patriots, and now he’s favored to go to the Giants.

In FOX Sports NFL Draft analyst Rob Rang’s most recent mock draft, he has Hunter going No. 3 to the Titans, projecting Tennessee trades the No. 1 pick.

“Simply put, the Titans have the least talented roster in the NFL. So, any opportunity to trade out of the top pick to acquire more picks and still be in position to nab one of this year’s few blue-chip talents should be strongly considered. Hunter is in a class by himself, truly warranting No. 1 overall consideration because of his ability to impact the game at both cornerback and receiver.”

Rang has the Giants, assuming they potentially trade up, selecting Cam Ward with the first pick.

In college, Hunter was the stud of all studs.

He led the Big 12 in receptions (96) and receiving touchdowns (15) last season, while hauling in 1,258 receiving yards in 13 games as well.

But that was Hunter the receiver.

Hunter the cornerback? Well, he had four interceptions and 11 passes defended, cementing his status as arguably the Buffaloes’ best offensive and best defensive player.

Come season’s end, Hunter won the Heisman Trophy, the Lott Trophy, and the Walter Camp, Chuck Bednarik and Fred Biletnikoff awards. He was a unanimous first-team All-American, Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year and AP College Football Player of the Year.
