Travis Hunter gives brother Trayvis the ‘tools’ Deion Sanders gave him to succeed in the NFL

Travis Hunter, at the tender age of 21, is already turning into an American Football mentor as the 2024/25 Heisman Trophy winner passes over tips to his up-and-coming younger brother.

Trayvis Hunter currently stars for the Effingham County High School and is another talented wide receiver looking to make it to the professional scene, forecast to be in the 2027 NFL Draft.

Although he doesn’t have the two-way talents of his Colorado Buffaloes sibling, there’s still a lot the teenager can learn from Travis when it comes to how football in the NCAA works.

So the man forecast to be the first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft has already turned coach as he looks to guide Trayvis to the pro game, in a video posted by Overtimeszn on Instagram.

“I feel great,” Trayvis said of his high school campaign. “I felt like we could have played at least better. But like we said, we just executed defense, communicated offense, executed.

“He (Travis Hunter) just telling me to get open every play, take every play 100% and stuff like that. It’s just one more day in the offense bro. It’s just work.”

Travis denies giving Trayvis advice

The 15-year-old has performed impressively in high school, producing 496 receiving yards for six touchdowns with Effingham landing offers from Jackson State and Tennessee State.

However, Travis revealed his talent is all to do with his younger brother, as he explains why he doesn’t tell him what to do.

“The reason I don’t give him advice,” Hunter said as per Sportskeeda.com. “[Is] because I want him to go through it just like I had to go through it.

“I could tell everything you need to know, but you’ve got to face it yourself. I can’t be there when it’s your time for you to face it.”
