The Las Vegas Raiders didn’t hold a typical meeting with prospects eligible for the 2025 NFL Draft, as revealed by one of the top players in the class, Boise State‘s Ashton Jeanty.
Tom Brady‘s team hosted several top prospects and decided to take them on an outing, similar to what happened with Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders.
Ashton Jeanty’s Topgolf visit with the Raiders
During his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Jeanty shared that the Raiders took him and other prospects to Topgolf as part of their Top 30 visit.
This outing reminded fans of when the Washington Commanders did the same with Jayden Daniels last year, an event that sparked rumors Daniels didn’t enjoy the experience. The quarterback later clarified that, on the contrary, he had a great time.
Jeanty enjoyed himself, though he admitted he’s “not very good” at golf. He was joined by Mason Graham (Michigan), Will Campbell (LSU), Jaxson Dart (Ole Miss quarterback), Quinn Ewers (Texas quarterback), Will Howard (Ohio State), and Josaiah Stewart (Michigan).
This could be a good omen for Ashton Jeanty‘s NFL future, as Jayden Daniels had a strong rookie season. The Boise State running back is a favorite to be selected at the No. 6 overall pick in the NFL Draft.
Several analysts see Jeanty landing with the Raiders, and even the team’s General Manager, John Spytek, joked that his son is pressuring him, threatening to “find a new family” if they don’t draft him.
