Tom Brady may have stepped away from the NFL, but his presence in sports remains undeniable. Whether analyzing games for Fox Sports or managing his ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders, the seven-time Super Bowl champion stays deeply connected to the world he once dominated.
Another major project keeping him busy? Religion of Sports (ROS), the media company he co-founded, which produces documentaries, podcasts, and other sports-related content.
Now, ROS has welcomed a new and influential figure to its leadership team-none other than the greatest gymnast of all time, Simone Biles.
Another legendary athlete steps into media work
Brady took to Instagram on Wednesday to celebrate Biles’ addition to the ROS Board of Directors.
“Simone Biles partners with Religion of Sports; joins Board of Directors,” an official statement read.
Brady simply responded with his trademark enthusiasm: “#LFG!!!”
Biles, a four-time Olympic gold medalist and 30-time World Championship winner, has already cemented her place in history. But now, she’s embarking on a new journey-one that allows her to uplift the voices of other athletes through storytelling.
Reflecting on this opportunity, Biles was open about her choice.
“If you asked me what I wanted to do when I was younger, I always wanted to be a nurse to help people. And obviously, that’s off the table now, but I still feel like we can help people in our communities through storytelling,” Biles explained.
This isn’t Biles’ first foray into media. She has already shared her own experiences through projects like Netflix’s Simone Biles Rising and her bestselling autobiography Courage to Soar, which was later adapted into a television film. Now, she’s shifting her focus to giving other athletes a platform to share their journeys.
Founded in 2016 by Brady, former New York Giants star Michael Strahan, and filmmaker Gotham Chopra, Religion of Sports was built on the idea that sports are more than just competition-they’re a way of life. The concept took root in 2015 when Chopra directed Kobe Bryant’s Muse, a documentary exploring the late NBA icon’s mindset.
Since then, ROS has expanded into a powerhouse media brand, working with major networks like Apple TV+, ESPN, Showtime, Fox Sports, NBC Sports, and Facebook Watch. Some of its most notable projects include Simone vs. Herself, Passion Play, and Man in the Arena: Tom Brady, a 10-part docuseries chronicling Brady’s career.
With Simone Biles now on board, Religion of Sports is poised to elevate its storytelling even further, bringing powerful and untold athlete narratives to the forefront.
